‘Rattle Making’

This year my main offering is called “We are the Songlines”, it’s not a performance, more a ceremonial journey, an invitation to co create a harvest offering to the heart of life, a medicine bundle of our gratitude, our love, our tenderness and togetherness, our hope, grief and praise, sung as a lullaby of our humanness, born of of our origins of starlight and water, to all life that sings in and through us.

I’ll also be holding a rattle making & song finding workshop to nurture and awaken these song rivers and earth rhythms.

Dorrie Joy is an artist & traditional craftswoman working with ancestral skills & the art of altars. She is holding the Ancestors’ Drum at Heart of the Rose. 

A mother of three and grandmother of two, her work is rooted in soil, soul, connection & reciprocity.
