After seeding ‘Brotherhood of the Rose’ Gathering in-person on the Land on Summer Solstice in 2024, and then Sophie starting to run regular rose events *for all* both on the Land + at various festivals in the UK, such as Soul Revolution and Medicine Festival, and doing the Heart of the Rose Global Online Summit (for all) last year, it finally feels time to properly anchor this beautiful seed.

The Eridge Rose Community has also started to grow on the Land, with dear brother’s now permanently based on the Land who are able to start to hold, organise and vision this powerful men’s festival that will be the ‘brother’ to Heart of the Rose.

After going online in 2025 and ‘connecting the global rose community’ - Heart of the Rose will now meet in-person this 2026 year and will be for nearly 700 women. This will be the 6th year we have run this festival and we feel deeply honoured and excited for this brother festival to grow alongside it.

The intention for Brotherhood of the Rose this year will be that those men who feel called - will meet on the opposite side of the park (about an hours walk away) from where Heart of the Rose is gathering. One is by the white spring on the Land and the other gathers by the red, both happening at the same time + both in their own deep individual ceremony over the weekend. Then those men that choose, will be invited to pilgrimage over to where Heart of the Rose has been gathering on Monday afternoon. Here both gatherings will take part in a deeply held ‘Sacred Union’ healing reparation ceremony in the afternoon.

As mentioned throughout the website, Eridge has profoundly powerful ley lines and we believe the reason Sophie was shown by the Land to do these gatherings is because whatever healing happens here, also has a beautiful ripple affect through these song lines.

The hope being that in years to come is that both festivals will happen alongside each other in some form and then those who choose will gather together for a longer deeper period of time, for more healing and awakening work together.

This sacred union work will also happen throughout the year once the retreat center, mystery school and Rose Temple is up and running, where we plan to be running regular rites of passage, retreats and events for all. All of this is also all leading up to a festival called AWAKEN festival for 20,000-30,000 that Sophie was ‘shown’ 7 years ago but then was shown by the Land to do Heart of the Rose and then Brotherhood of the Rose. She started to understand that in order for us all to collectively experience a new level of true embodied ‘AWAKEN’ing , we need to remember how to first be initiated into these bodies again, and that first the women needed to heal, and then the men - and only then can we come together as One. Reflecting the deeper healing + restoration of our inner feminine/masculine that is needed for true heiros gamos/embodied enlightenment to occur - as above, so below, as within, so without - ‘we cannot transcend the ‘self’ before we have fully integrated and healed the ‘self’’.

We are called at this pivotal time on the planet + the birth of this new age to have a a spirituality that no longer tries to ‘transcend’ life and the body but honours both the transcendent and the immanent, the masculine and the feminine, the cosmic and the earthly, recognising both as Holy, all as sacred and all an expression of the One, and the Heart (Rose) as the vehicle - please see the rest of the website for Sophie sharing more info on this.

In terms of this 2026 year, we are still unsure of the specific details of the Monday afternoon sacred union event but we know it will need to be a separate ticket event to make sure we can keep track of numbers as the women’s festival will be for around 700 women this year and the mens, due to it being a ‘seed’ gathering, we will intentionally be keeping it smaller and closer to 50-60. The hope is the sacred union event will be for around 80-100 overall to keep it as balanced as possible. We shall let everyone know hopefully by the end of June once we have clarified the details of how this Monday event will look.

In the mean time Brotherhood of the Rose gathering will happen from the 3rd-7th September.

Due to this being the first year the brother’s will be meeting and staying on the Land together - the gathering will be relatively small, intimate and grass-roots style. The brother’s from the Land who are organising it - Liam, Alec, Marc and Benjii - will be sharing more details at the end of June.
