The pelvis is often avoided in therapeutic spaces, overlooked, gaslit, unconsciously made wrong. Increasing stigma.When our pelvis is well mapped we can be more engaged with this part of ourselves. In the workshop:-Why the pelvis is paramount to physical,emotional,spiritual wellbeing.
-How life stages impact pelvic wellbeing.-Practises to gently create awareness, connection and wellbeing using embodied pelvic mapping ,movement/posture, breathwork,visualisation.
About Jane
Jane is a Female Pelvic Embodiment Coach, Somatic Yoga Teacher and Functional Kinesiologist.
She’s an advocate for women’s cyclical health, specialising in the menstrual cycle, menopause and the female pelvis with 20 year’s experience in supporting women’s wellbeing through transitions and change through a feminist perspective.
She is the founder of The Embodied Female Pelvis, an online course for women cultivating pelvic awareness, health and connection.
Jane works from an integral bio/psycho/social/soul lens and is passionate in helping her clients grow self-awareness, autonomy and body agency.
Her work is neurodivergent and trauma informed.
Jane originally studied design at St Martins and worked in film and TV production. A life threatening ectopic pregnancy was the catylst for swapping London life for a slower, more sustainable existence by the sea in Sussex and was her initiation into her exploration of the female pelvis. Jane is known for her gentle, practical, approachable and inclusive approach to female pelvic embodiment . She take's a whole body approach including functional and somatic movement, breathwork, nervous system and pelvic mapping and educational embodied anatomy
