Joy Neal
‘The Gift of Mortality’
An embodied, inclusive, practical & uplifting workshop exploring how we feel about death and our own mortality.
Inviting curiosity about our relationships towards death and dying.
Exploring whether embracing the reality of mortality impacts our priorities, choices and outlook.
Through conversation, ritual and nature-inspired guided visualisation we will deepen our understanding of our own unique human journey and take away practical ideas for how to get more comfortable with our own mortality.
About Joy
I have been a womens circle holder, ritualist and ceremonialist since 2015, and offer regular seasonal retreats for women, bereavement support and death literacy groups.
I have been working as an Independent Celebrant based in Kent since 2022 - and the aspect that I love most is creating funerals and end of life celebrations, and working with the dying and the bereaved.
I am fascinated by, and passionate about the power of ritual and ceremony to help us navigate the challenges and joys of our human experience.
I am in training as a death worker and Soul Midwife, and I believe that opening up conversations around death and dying is an important way to enter into living more fully and joyously!
