Rev. Samantha Moyo
‘Queer Ecology, the Body and the Rose’
An embodied energising journey exploring nature’s fluidity. Through a series of partner work, movement and play, you’ll be invited into animism, environmentalism in relation to queer theory. In the wild, animals (such as penguins, albatrosses, and dolphins) frequently form same-sex bonds, while various fish, plants, and fungi easily change their sex or possess multiple reproductive systems. This workshop aims to expand our understanding of ourselves and the natural world - whilst also laying binary ideas such as natural vs unnatural to rest. Nature is fluid, so are we! Let's dance it out.
